[50mhz] transverter Jack on the Yaesu MK V

Hi gang, I am trying to hook up a transverter to my MK V.

I tried hooking it up to the transverter to the MK V, but for some reason I am not getting any signal to the transverter..

So I opted to use antenna port B on the MK V and it works fantastic, My only issue is that i have to turn the Rf Power totally counter clock wise..

but with the Transverter Jack on the MK V its a constant configuration. But I cant make it work..

any input appreciated..

The Transverter is an Elecraft xv 144 and xv 222
