I put some vacuum variable caps up on eham.net thinking I'd be lucky to get 
a hit, much less sell them. At this point, I think I have two of three sold 
and a lead on selling the third. Might be the way to go.

Do you have an IC-551/D ? I do. It has an FM board in it though. I'm a 
little frustrated that it looses its mind when the power supply is turned 
off, even with a backup battery connected. Someone said there's supposed to 
be a fix for that but I can find it.
