I placed a 50mhz Beacon on the Air Sunday, 10/03/2004.
Details Follow:
Freq. 50.0650 (usb)
CW @ 13 wpm
Power: 2 Watts
Rig: Yaesu FT-690R ll
Antenna: J-Pole @ 50 ft. ( Soon will change to an Egg Beater )
Operation: 3 minute cycle @ 24/7
Tx Msg. time is 40 seconds ( Lots of Info.! )

Grid Location: EN51uv
Geographic Location: Geneva, Illinois 60134 USA.    41.885   88.310
 
Looking for Reports on Signal quality and 50.0650 FREQ.Drift. ( What Freq.  
do you copy the Beacon on? ).
