[50mhz] re-subscriptions and settings...

If you subscribe to one of these Reflectors, then hopefully you're already gotten
a new subscription notice.

The hard drive on the server at QTH.NET failed late last week, and it took all
the Lists / Reflectors down with it. After much loss of sleep and personal
sacrifice, they rebuilt the system with a new hard drive and a new version of
Mailman software. However there were some problems. Some of the databases
for certain reflectors were badly scrambled because of corrupted passwords.
The other lists are okay, but YAESU was messed up pretty badly.
So, if you know of someone that was on Yaesu but isn't there now, get them
to drop me a note here and I'll manually put them back in.

I would advise you to go to the web page shown in the message and check your
settings for correctness: for instance, "digest mode" and "no mail". You can also
change that awful new password to something you can remember at the same time.
If you are subscribed twice to allow posting messages from more than one email
address, you'll probably want to turn off mail on one of the subscriptions so you
don't get duplicates.

Now, as long as I have your attention, I want to bring up one more thing. I estimate
that about 20% of everyone here (averaging all 5 Reflectors) is subscribing to one
of these lists thru an arrl.net alias. AS LONG AS YOU NEVER POST A MESSAGE,
YOU'LL BE OKAY. HOWEVER, if you are sub'd with an arrl.net address, and
you post a message from somewhere else, and that message "bounces" to me to figure
out what to do with it, then I will UNSUB your arrl.net address from whichever list and
sub you with your REAL address. If you wish to make other arrangements, you need
to Email me NOW.

  Thank you.
