[50mhz] dead band

 Must be an idiot using a beacon on the calling frequency.
 About like a moron on 156.520 with a remote repeater hogging the 2 meter
calling frequency near Kingman AZ that I ran across last June.
 No brains with some of them.
 I would not set up a beacon or remote on any calling channel like that. Not
KOSHER at all.

The station calling CQ in CW on 50.125 is W5OZI - very weak here in CO -
DM67.  Late night band opening here too - heard KL7 weakly, but couldn't
work him as he was strong into the NW part of the country and they had the
market cornered.  ;-)
