[50mhz] dead band

 I talked to a guy near Albuquerque NM just a bit before 05:00 Z last night.
 I didn't have a scratch pad handy, so don't recall his call sign, other
than it was a '4' call.
 I was turning my beams around to sync the rotor at the time, and was not
expecting anything at night on 6.
 I should check again this evening.
 Have to go do a bit of shopping just now, so no time to do anything during
daylight.
