The /B is likely a beacon signal you are hearing.
Like websites, some folks think that others want to hear from them.
I don't know if there is a 6M QSL buro...unless smirk has one.
Just because there is such a thing as grids, does not require one to collect
them.
It is enough of a goal to get all 50 states on 6.
