Work has begun on the second Ameritron AL1500 retrofitted and dedicated 
amplifier for 6m.  Power OUTPUT is a minimum of 2KW and depends on the
level of primary voltage.  I believe this power level is the highest
available from any commerical amplifiers.   The amp can be purchased 
either with or without the tube. Price is $1800/$2200  respectively +
shipping. Safe shipping is assured since the plate xmfr can be  removed
