[50mhz] Newbie Questions and observations

Hi Bob, welcome to the 'magic band'.....
Believe it or not, the CW activity on 6 M has actually increased recently. I 
believe there may be a coupla' reasons for this:
1. Lots of HF radios include 6 M nowdays, so normal (??) HF operators take a 
shot at 6.
2. VHF operating is more difficult as the current cycle declines, so CW is 
the mode of choice.
3. The recent activity on the sun, may have piqued the interest of some 
operators.

You are right about the lack of a specific CW calling frequency. I DO hear 
some CW activity on .125............

I'm probably not the best QSLer out there. In my case, it was (is) simply a 
matter of not being in one location long enough to get some nice cards printed! 
Having worked for IBM (I'ved Been Moved), it made working WAS, etc, 
difficult........
