[50mhz] Icom 505 opinions/comments

The 505 is hardly a piece of garbage. Agreed it's not a weak-signal rig,
but then anyone who thinks a 10w rig requires a hot receiver is, well,
wrong. I earned my 1000 mile/watt award (Scotland from FN20) and worked
2-way QRP with Puget Sound WA with it.

In short, it's a pack-set and as that, it's a good one.
