If you're into cars, there is a superior product made by ARP (maker of 
aerospace quality fastners, yes, they have a website. And no, I'm not affiliated 
with them, just a happy customer). Their lube is used to prevent galling and it 
allows the correct torque to be achieved. A tube cost around $5. It's available 
from Jeg's and Summit Racing.....

However, any auto parts store also sells 'anti-sieze'. This should ALWAYS be 
used on the threads of spark plugs, when they are installed in aluminum 
cylinder heads. Some brands use Copper, others use Aluminum powder. They both work 
fine....
