[50mhz] band open no one home

Spent 3 hrs on the band this morning worked two minn stations.. called cq 
for an hr. the ve3vhf.b was s9 into ky for hours this morning only station 
that came back to me was a VE4 in Winnapeg. where were all the other VE 
stations.
