[50mhz] hy-gain VB-66DX Beam ?

Hello to the Group,
I just picked up a hy-gain VB-66DX Beam antenna and am curious about the
length of the D4 director element for setting #1 (50.10 Mhz). The manual
shows a length of 52 inches
with footnote 11.
First question, I can't find any reference to footnote 11.
Second, A 52 inch setting is not proportionate to the higher frequency
settings in the table.
Any ideas ?
