Same goes for the j-pole as the inverted v or dipole in previous posts. Get
it as high as you can. Vertical works for repeaters and skip, and horizontal
gets you farthest when there is no conditions. Assuming you are trying to
work weak signal and talk to beams. When there are good conditions, just
about anything works.
