Hello Wayne,
Since my first 2m EME array 25 years ago, I have had very good luck with a
"double H frame" configuration, in which the upper horizontal boom is BEHIND the
vertical masts, and the lower horizontal boom is in FRONT of the vertical
masts. This keeps the entire array perfectly centered over the mount, in
addition to being very rigid.
I have used this method with both aluminum pipes to contruct the H frame as well
as with aluminum towers. More information on how I recently implemented this on
