[50mhz] info needed on 6 meter mobile antenna

A Larsen NMO-150 (yes a 2mtr 5/8wave)...get it with the longer
49in whip...dont cut it and you're set for 6 (and it also works
on 2 as a bonus)....outperforms even the NMO-47s (whip is longer)
I recommend the Black version...looks cool on today's vehicles :)

Now with the low power and FM only and no Noise Blanker in
the Alinco, dont expect to burn open the band with any antenna.
If you want to work band openings on a regular basis, you really
need to look at all mode on 6....SSB is open more often than FM
section (A Ranger DX5054 is a good choice...has allmode and
noise blanker in it; IF you decide to go for allmode instead)
