[50mhz] info needed on 6 meter mobile antenna

Since that is a mono band , FM rig I would recommend a 54 inch whip. You
should be able to make one with cb supplies. 54 inches is a quarter wave for
the FM portion of the band but you should check it for swr.Maybe start out
55 inches. It mainly depends on your mounting location.  This is the
simplest and most reliable, not to mention sturdy, antenna you would need.
