[50mhz] Garmin GPS

Hi All You Six Meter Experts:
I need help (no, not just psychiatric). Santa Claus brought me a new 
Garmin eTrex Legend GPS with WAAS enabling, and it is a little
beauty. Works great: EXCEPT, no matter what I do, I can't get it to read 
position in GRIDS instead of Lat/Long. All else is perfect.
I have read the instruction manual and there is a Menu Function wherte 
you can change the "Units" but no mention of  "British
Maidenhead". Boy, that is real frustrating. Antbody out there have one 
of these little gems and can tell this dumb old man how to
use it???
