[50mhz] SB220 Conversion to 6 Meters

There has been some stuff out there in regards to converting an SB 220 =
to 6 meters, though most of it wrong. Let me explain, the input can be =
converted on the 10 meter input, but to get 1KW out on 6 the tune and =
load caps need to be changed to much lower values, IE 50 PF on tune, and =
75-220 on load if my memory serves me correct. The origional caps in the =
SB220 do not allow this. Perhaps door-knob caps together with the tune =
and load caps, to reduce the max on the caps should work, switched on =
the band switch, though I have yet to try this. As I continue to play =
with my own 220 I'll keep you updated. 73 Glenn N1YTN
