Hello Michael,

I have not seen any information on providing some interface for the TS-830S, so
information (at least the frequency) can be imported into logging programs. I have
a TS-830S that I still use with converters for VHF weak signal reception here - I
have to say, it is very very good (especially with the superior noise blanker in
it).

At this particular time, I am only able to interface my IC746 (which I use as XMTR)
to the computer, through a homebrew CI-V level converter. I use the FB logging
program of TRX-Manager, which permits me to automatically log frequency, mode, S
meter reading, grid locator, DXCC, etc. etc. (and much much more). I also would be
interested in learning of any way get any of this data from the TS-830S
automatically entered into my computer logbook.

GL and 73, Lance
