[50mhz] Beacon north of Houston

I have a 180ft site with a lowband antenna in the 49 MHz range
on it already on the far north side of Houston...have been thinking of
adding a beacon on 6 there...any comments? It would be maybe 20watts
max....trying to think if we need a beacon here in Texas near Houston
to let you folks outside the Lone Star State know when its opened to 
here :)
