[50mhz] 6 meters and election day

Seems to be something about election day that brings
out the best in 6 meter DX.  Don't know if it has
something to do with resurrection of the dead for
voting ionizing the F2 layer or what.  On election day
2000 I worked YV1NX for a new one, and today I worked
2 new ones on 6-Grenada and Martinque.

J3/K6MYC-very loud here, much better than last 2 days
VP2MJD-Worked again, 3 day in a row

Up to 20 countries on 6 meters now

ALso heard ZD7MY for about 2 seconds when he was
working a KD5 station.  Probably a meteor ping to F2
connection.

Lets hope it continues for the week.  Might be a
little late in the cycle to get F2 on Election day
2004, but we can always hope.
