[50mhz] test

Dear Bruce and Mike,

This business of HTML posts might have an unpleasant history on this
reflector. If it does, I am unaware of it, since I joined only last night.

Folks, I innocently posted a "test" mail upon joining this group. Contrary,
to the contents of the mail below, it contained no coloured background or
fancy fonts. I have posted to Kenwood, For-sale, Antennas etc., for quite
sometime and I am aware of the HTML taboo. However, having reloaded Windows
into my laptop (a few days ago) and since the default Outlook setting seems
"html" my test message went out in HTML. I am quite computer illiterate and
my actions were in ignorance rather than with the intent of bothering
anyone. I received a suitable reminder by the net admin and my original post
contained a reminder as well. I did apologise for my mistake, but I continue
to see the kind of mail that picks on me and harps on the topic. Even though
there is a moderator who has already done his job by reminding me.

I do not intend to carry on this needless discussion. It has not been a very
fond welcome a ham from a DX/3rd world country to have received. It appears
that you gentleman want me off this list and I shall comply. I am
unsubscribing......it certainly has not been a pleasant experience here.
Having become interested in 6m and a wish to help the many who have asked me
to QRV on that band and give them a 6Y5 contact, I joined this list -- to
share goodwill and knowledge only. Again, I apologize to every single member
on this list. I have no intentions of hurting anyone's feelings or making
sarcastic remarks, for that is not why I joined this group. Goodbye all.....

73,
Ron
