Subject: [50mhz] Simplex below 51 Mhz

Yes the subject line seems simple enough, I'd like some feedback from =
the
group.
I am converting 3 GE MVP radios for simplex operation, they are a =
're-tune'
only
if kept below 51 Mhz. Re-tune only is certainly my first preference.

After looking at the ARRL band plan it looks like any mode between 50.3 =
to
50.6
but most of the time I find the 'band plan' not nessesarily in tune with
what
everyone else is doing. Soooo the question is:

Below 51 Mhz what would be the best place to set up shop for a group of =
FM
simplex
radios? I'm trying to steer clear of any weak signal guys.
