As with most things in life, "It depends."
It should work quite nicely -- considering what it is.
But, "it dependes":

 *  Is it a metal roof?
 *  Is there a common-distribution OTA TV antenna right above you?
 *  Do your neighbors watch TV-2 using rabbit ears?

Any one of these will be a show-stopper. (Most Es occurs during
prime TV viewing hours.  :-\ )
