[50mhz] Rebuilding Hi-gain 406

I have this wonderful old 4 element beam that needs a little fixing up.
Mostly it's new hardware and a little straightening, but it also needs a new
ballon. It uses a piece of rg58 as the ballon. I am curious as to whether or
not one of the ferrite bead coax ballons will work better, be less lossy,
etc?

Has anyone made any improvements to this antenna that I should consider
while it's on the ground and disassembled for moving?
