[50mhz] A reminder...

Howdy, and happy Super Bowl Sunday. (grin) There have been a few modifications to the software that runs the various
Reflectors, that I wanted to mention to y'all.

First off, you may start noticing some extra sentences at the bottom of some messages. What this means is that for those
folks that insist on sending in messages to the various Reflectors using HTML message encoding, the message will now go thru
the system but the extra sentences indicate that the HTML has been cut off and discarded. (For those of you that don't know
it, if the message has HTML in it, the "raw" message has Plain Text in the upper portion and HTML in the lower portion. So
technically, it's somewhat easy to cut off.) Before, such messages would sit in my Inbox, or lately in a special queue at the
qth.net webpage, waiting to see if they'd be passed or not. I didn't pass very many.

Which brings up the second point. There's folks that continue to send in messages from one Email address, but you're
subscribed under a different address. A case in point would be if I were subscribed under [email protected] but I send
messages out with my normal Email address. They still BOUNCE. They will sit in the web page cue until I get to it and decide
what to do with them.

Next, please, when you reply to someone, please edit the message down a bit. Especially in the Yaesu Reflector, folks are
making multiple replies and not trimming the excess stuff at the bottom. Try, please. :-)

And finally, no attachments of any kind. I believe that those messages are being killed off before I even see them. On the
other hand, you will NOT get a virus from reading one of these messages. Guaranteed.

We now return you to your favorite activity. :-)
