I redesigned and rebuilt the 6M Boomer several years ago. Not just a quick
pass on "Yagi Optimizer" either; took a learning curve to really understand
the process.
Note the Boomer came out in 79 and was never computer optimized by
CrashCraft.
Now 8el on the same boom.
Outstanding f/b and f/s along with almost a 1.5db gain boost. The clean
pattern really killed a lot of local and DX QRN and opened new layers of DX.
Send a SASE to my CBA for full details including plots.
Ive also redesigned other CC and HyGain 6M antennas. Built several and many
have duplicated them.
