George: Many antenna specs listed in catalongs might be misleading
because they give gain figures in dBi which is dB gain over an isotropic
source in free space which is an ideal theoretical antenna not
influenced by surrounding objects or earth. There are those who believe
in being realistic and they list gain in dBd which means dB gain over
a half wave dipole. If the figure says dBi it will be higher than the
realistic gain in dBd, so if the M2 antenna lists gain at 10.5 dBd
thren you have a winner, which is the antenna that would be better.
Hope that makes sense.

Good opening last night to Mexico DL44 but too short. Only worked
