[50mhz] Ducting today, strange coditions

 Hello from Thunder Bay , Ontario EN58df.
Some strange conditions on 2 meters today, have not had a chance to
listen to six to see what is happening, but the 2 meter band has been
opening up quite well.
Hearing lots of stations and repeaters across lake Superior that we do
not normally hear.
Also the boys in Longlac Ontario(320 kms east) have been making it into
the YQT repeater here in Thunder bay, they have a repeater that runs the
same frequency and the same negative offset.
Talked to a friend of mine VA3SAM in Gull bay(north of Thunder Bay near
Armstrong) and he said they have had thunder storms all day.
Weather here in Thunder bay today has been very warm and sunny, and
thunder storms are predicted for tonight, and I believe that we may get
them, so this may explain the conditions/weather front.
>From what I heard from folks in NY, Southern Ontario, it has been HOT,
90's in NY. WOW...
