[30m] Best times to hold the net for nationwide coverage

I've run some VOAAREA simulations, and I'm leaning towards morning or
evening. I realize that there is a trade-off. A net at night would
would have a bigger skip zone but be better for long-distance coverage.
(I'd be able to communicate with the coasts but not other parts of the
Midwest.) A net at high noon (which would have to be on the weekend,
since I'm normally at work during the week) would have less of a skip
zone but also less long-distance coverage. So I'd have better copy with
the hams in Chicago and Minneapolis but at the expense of the copy with
the hams in Los Angeles and Washington DC.

So a net in the morning or early evening seems like a reasonable
compromise.

Any suggestions?

When I announce the net controls, I'll also make sure to include their
locations. This way, you'll know in advance if the net control station
is in your skip zone.
