Hi Dave,
                 I want to thank you, and all the others that took the time
to respond. I have received some great ideas, much of which has been saved
as a 30M antenna compendium. I am also deciding which way to go with a
stealth antenna. Meanwhile, I have bought, but not yet installed, an
AlphaDelta DX-EE antenna for use on 40M. According to their documentation,
with a "wide range" antenna turner, it will work on 30M. That remains to be
seen. 
 
Again, thanks to all who took the time to respond. It is very much
appreciated.
