   If you attach the copper radials to the antenna you can keep the
connection good by going to the local electricial supply house or home
improvement store and getting some Nolox. or some other anti corrosion
grease and apply it to the connection.  We use this for making the
connection between our vertical antenna and the copper ground wire and
radials and it works fine.
