Not Jason, BUT, I can answer that one.  The Usual mode is Feld  HELL.  I 
would say 90% of all QSO's are started in FELD.  I have  worked 2 stations, out of 
the last 50 or so HELL contacts, one EA and a  W4  who were calling CQ in 
FMHELL 105. Great thing about HELL is that  it is readable between, or cross, 
mode, unlike BPSK vs. QPSK..

But what are  the common modes for  FH on HF?

Seem that, that's the mode you  should use.. BTW, a net sounds like an
excellent idea to me... Both to get  30M used more and to get FH used more..
