The advantage to co-phased antennas on a truck is that it tends to focus
more power front and back and less power to the sides for longer range
up and down the highway. Any other use would be wasteful, in my opinion.
However, if you have a need for that type of performance it would
probably work. The shorter wavelength of 2m would make the required
distance between antennas smaller. Don't try to do it on your own with
an adapter - find a radio shop with amateur and cb experience to wire it
properly. It's not worth burning up your finals.
