Greetings
I am looking at installing a dual band radio into a 1997 Rover two door
car. As this car is rather a compact model I am very limited to where I
can install the radio. The only ideal location is in the rear (hatchback
model) the place is at the back right rear...my dilemma is that once
installed it would be inches/cms away from the magnet of the rear
speaker.
1. Would the magnetic field from the speaker damage or adversely affect
the radio.
2. If the above is possible/will happen, could I have a piece of thin
sheet metal folded to create a physical barrier between the radio and
the speaker magnet? Hopefully shielding the radio from the magnet field?
