Hi, John, 

But the above shows that he(?) is not asking about RFI, but is selling
radios.

This happens when a thread is hijacked, i.e. instead of starting a new
message the reply is button is hit and the subject line is changed. 

Causes problems for threaded news-readers, and is considered poor
etiquette.
