This fall I'm planing a Solo road trip from Northern Missouri to
Springfield, Oregon. So I Have a list of the frequencies and what not but
this list doesn't tell me if the frequencies are any good, or if they are
popular and what there coverages might be like. so I would like Input from
any hams in the states of Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, and Oregon, Most
Importantly in the Springfield Area.
I will be traveling along the following:
US-136;
NE HWY 2
I-80 THRU NE, WY, UT
1-84 THRU UT, ID, OR,
I-5 IN OR to springfield
I would like to know what repeaters are good along this route, which are
active (as some traveling will be done at night, I'd like to find repeaters
that are active anytime); and also any other stuff, such as good scanner
frequencies (statewide perf.); good radio stations (upbeat, high tempo
music is a +).
Just anything radio wise to help what will be a LONG roadtrip pass by quicker.
Thanks for your time,
