The last IC-375 I saw listed for sale was listed at $1800, prior to that
they had been bringing just over $1000. For that money you can buy a new
DEMI transverter and an amplifier to add to your existing HF radio.

I used an IC-706MKII and DEMI TIB with my transverter and it worked great.
With a MKIIG or a FT-100D and a 222  transverter, you have 6 through 432 in
a pretty compact package.

Probably have more luck getting Kenwood to add 222 to their TS-2000. And
chances of that are close to Zero. 

I probably would buy such a radio since all of mine are getting long in the
tooth.
