[222mhz] SSB 222.100 MHz

The problem stems from the fact that so much amateur equipment is made in
Japan, and 222 MHz is not an authorized ham band in that region.
After some research, it seems that transverters are the best solution.
DEMI, as
was mentioned, and Elecraft sell them. The one from Elecraft is a kit,
and I
believe that the ones from DEMI are available as a kit or assembled and
tested.
If I go in that direction I would probably go for the Elecraft model, as
it will work
seamlessly with my K2.
I'm assuming that you want that particular band for contesting, as in
this part
of 6-land that seems to be the only time that there's any activity on
SSB on 222.
You may want to consider this.
