Hi Gang!
K7DAE/R Will Be QRV This Weekend from DN12, DN02, CN92, and CN93 in Southern Oregon on 50, 144, 222, & 432 MHz.
This is primarily a 222 Mhz grid activation trip using my Rover truck as it was configured for the June contest. As I worked 3 new ones that weekend (bringing my 222 Mhz VUCC totals up to 47!) This trip is all about working those last 3 grids needed for 222 Mhz VUCC.
Currently the schedule is to be in DN12 Saturday Morning, then a long ride on a dirt road to DN02 and then finally working their way to the last stop, Paulina Peak in CN93. They will return to DM09nm via CN92, CN91, CN90, & CM99.
They will have my ROVER truck (1997 F150 4x4) which currently has yagi's for 144, 222, and 432 mounted on a heavy wall aluminum mast secured to center of the bed with a heavy duty roof tripod. In addition there are loop antennas for 50, 144, 222, and 432 on a mast mounted to the class 3 hitch below the rear bumper. They will have the ability to switch between the Omni's and Yagi's while in motion. The rig will my trusty 706mkIIg driving brick amplifiers on 144 and 222. Sorry but 432 will be barefoot at only 20W out for this trip.
Here your chance at some very rare grids!
