It's up ! 224.500 MHz ( - ) 156.7Hz tone
Thanks to the extraordinary efforts, patience and expertise of KC0LL, David,
the repeater went online at my house 8:00PM Tuesday evening.
It's putting out ~10 Watts to the 3 dB gain antenna mounted at rooftop level
in the 1st & Prince neighborhood.
Please exercise & test it and let me know the current limits of coverage.
It already hears better than my base on a higher gain antenna.
It will stay close to home, until we're satisfied with performance. It may
move to a higher visibility site in town for a while...then...it is
coordinated to go on Mt. Lemmon.
The TnT net will convene at normal time (18:30) and frequency (223.50MHz)
this Thursday evening in case someone hasn't gotten the word. Then I'd like
to move the net to the repeater for hopefully better coverage for all
check-ins.
I hope this will help rekindle interest and activity in that quiet little
band that commercial interests have their eyes on.
