I've been ignoring 222 for decades. But I picked up a 220 module for my
Ft-736 recently. I've found its broken cable and made it work. Last
weekend I put up a KLM 220 yagi. When pointed towards the nearest TV
towers it delivers half a milliwatt to the end of the coax at the
vertical sync pulse peaks. A surplus bandpass filter has knocked that
down a lot. Now I'm working on a mod for the module to terminate the IF
port of the mixer properly hoping to improve its dynamic range a great
deal more.
