Hi Gang,

Ok,I have a mint 631A on the way:) Thanks to all for advise and offers.

I would like a good HT to go with it.  I looked at the new Kenwood
tri-bander today and it was very nice except for the tinny recieve audio.
Audio quality is a big deal to me.  I'm using a frind's IC-3AT right now
and it very pleasant to listen to.

I would like something a little more modern than the 3AT(no pl tones, no
display) but would like the nice audio.

Again I welcome all opinions and offers for sale!
