[222mhz] TM-631A Problems

Hi Guys

Well, I got my 631 and it's got problems.  The mic looks really beat,
scrapes and scratches and the PTT button is sticky and loose feeling.
Biggest problem is that there is no audio output, only a carrier.  The
other buttons seem to work OK.

Problem 2 is the when the radio is turned off, all the memories and
settings are not saved. I'm assuming this is the lithium back-up battery?

As I negotiate with the seller, I would like to know what a compatible
replacement mic would cost? (original is discontinued)

How involved is the battery replacement and what would a  qualified shop
charge to fix this?
