[222mhz] 222 MHz Boomer Mods?

I bought a used 222 MHz antenna that I think once was a Cushcraft
Boomer.  I recall seeing a mod for this antenna which removed the
tri-reflector and uses the additional elements as directors.  The
antenna I have is over 18 feet long and has 16 elements.  Can someone
point me to this mod info?  I would like to know it's right before doing
all the work replacing my existing home-brew 25 year 222 MHz antenna
made from TV antenna elements.
