I'm the senior ham in this group (licensed since 1976) but I have rarely worked SSB on MF or HF (preferring, as I do, CW and digital). I've never worked 160m at all. I want to do this right, so I have some questions, submitted in the spirit of "the only dumb question is the one you don't ask." Question 1: What frequencies are appropriate for SSB QSOs on 160? Question 2: I believe there is a DX frequency or DX window on 160. What is the DX frequency/window? Question 3: Would it be OK to call "CQ DX" on/in the DX frequency/window? Thanks for your kind patience with my seemingly newbie questions. If there is any interest, I'll post again once we select a date, and let everyone know what time we plan to be operating. We expect to have ~15 minute windows until the quadcopter battery is depleted. 73, Jim KX0U
