I use a crossed 80 meter dipole, broadside is East/West; and a
160 meter OCF Windom, broad side is North/South. The APEX is at
32' AGL, with all ends gently sloping to their tie off points.
Fed with 100' of RG59 coax. At each end 25' is coiled around a
3" PVC. The antenna is self resonant at 3.56-ish MHz, and at
1.816 MHz. The TS450S has an internal tuner, so It will work for
me on all bands. The Windom probably acts more like a short
vertical on 160 due to the height, and feedline setup.

Gary: I haven't tried one as yet; but many LF operators use a
" Loop " antenna for low noise reception. There's plenty of
articles on the net about loops, and how to construct them.
Just guessing, but TOM - W8JI probably has some good info on
his site about loops. A small loop tuned for 160, with a Pre-Amp,
and BPF for 160 meters might be a workable antenna for you.
Put it up about 10 to 15 feet AGL mounted on a rotator to null
out noise, or interfering stations. The idea might make for some
interesting " Static Months " reading at the least.
