Hi Bob,

The Ranger II is alive and doing well. It was a real fight. 
I must have made 10 trips in and out with it.

It was a kit, and about half of the problems were 
connections that were crimped but never soldered!!! The 
other half of the problems were carbon resistors. Some went 
way up in value, and some went way low in value. I had one 
470 k that was down to about 5 k ohms.

I'm having a ball with old gear.

Now all I need are some TCL  style     B and W tank coils, 
and I can get my 8005 rig on.
