Last nite I made it through arnd 02z. The operator usually gives Rx freq. If he is listening down 10 kc as last eve he is actually listening a full Kc or more either side. Listen to where he seems to stop tuning and sit there. He works up & down. Seldom works 2 on the same freq. If you stay in his perameters he will come across you. I run 500w & a dipole @50' so I'm not a big gun. The center of his tuning range is usually the most crowded. Find a clearer spot near the egde of his tuning range. Like anyone else the operator wants signals more in the clear rather than trying to get a call sign out of a 100 callers in a 1/2 kc glob. GL
